It was a privilege to be joined today by members of the Philadelphia police and fire departments as we unveiled our new memorial plaque to fallen officers. Replacing our weather-worn “Path of Honor,” the plaque recognizes firemen and police offers killed in the line of duty since 1930. It is our hope that this memorial will remind all who see it of the supreme sacrifice made by those remembered here!
