The Division of Neurology at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) has been chosen as the 2016 Black Tie Tailgate beneficiary. The Division is recognized as a world leader in pediatric neurologic disorders.
On Friday January 29th the Philadelphia convention center hosted the annual Black Tie Tailgate fundraiser, benefitting CHOP. This event brings out the most fashionable and elite folks in the area. Among the guest this years was our very own Geno Vento.
Geno, the owner of the famous Philly cheesesteaks, expressed that he loves going to charity events and giving back to CHOP. “ As a patient at CHOP they took care of me, so anything I can do to support, I will.”
Action news, 6abc was the media sponsor for this benefit so it was no surprise to see Alicia Vitarelli looking stunning on the red carpet doing interviews. Alicia was able to catch up with Geno for a little Q&A on his fashion for the evening.
“It was great to see all the reporters at 6abc and to get pictures with them as well as be on tv,” Vento said. When asked some of his favorite moments, he said, seeing the amazing cars from Kerbeck, Subaru and Jeep as well as taking a photo with the POPE and of course meeting Miss America.
The auto show will continue through Feb 7, 2016. Check out the website for more details. Phillyautoshow.com. Be sure to head over Geno’s afterwards for one of his famous Philly cheesesteaks!
