We love celebrating the fall in Philadelphia for so many reasons. The weather, getting the chance to cheer for the Eagles and the Phils at the same time, and the city making way for so many interesting Halloween and autumn themed events are just a few things that make the season something to behold.
Here at Geno’s Steaks, we know how much our supporters and Geno’s family want to stay up to date with us through the fall season. Below, we’ve included a few fall updates!
Fall is in Full Swing — And So Are Fun Fall Events!
Fall is in full swing in the City of Brotherly Love, and the great weather that we have been having along with all of the sights really make it easy to enjoy all of the events that the season entails. You really don’t have to go far to find something to do in various areas across the city. For example, Boo at the Zoo is back at the Philadelphia Zoo, where families can put on their costumes, trick-or-treat, and enjoy three fun-filled weekends starting October 14th. There is also Spooky Mini Golf held in Franklin Square, Spooky Twilight Hours at the Betsy Ross House, and opportunities to enjoy the fall foliage at locations such as Fairmount Park and various farms located outside the city. If you’re in the neighborhood, remember that a cheese steak from Geno’s is the perfect way to end a festive fall night!
Halloween is Coming!
At Geno’s Steaks, we love Halloween in the city and seeing all of the families dressed up and ready to trick-or-treat. We are also huge fans of seeing all of the elaborate costumes of guests as they come around on the holiday to pick up a quick bite. Much like any other day of the year, Geno’s will be open on Halloween if families want to stop by and pick up one of our cheesesteaks either before or after heading out. To the Geno’s Steaks family, have a safe, happy, and fun Halloween!
Geno’s Steaks is Featured on Cooking with Shereen and Gets a Visit from What Willy Cook
We get a lot of celebrities and television/online personalities at Geno’s Steaks — it just comes with the territory as Philly’s premiere location for cheese steaks. That said, we really get a kick out of being able to welcome in familiar faces and are doubly excited when our guests happen to be people who are equally passionate about great food. Last month, we were lucky enough to get paid a visit by two great online chefs, Shereen Pavlides of Cooking with Shereen fame as well as What Willy Cook and the team from MLB Europe. It was so fun to spend some time with them, get them on the grill, and teach them a thing or two about an authentic Philly cheesesteak! Thank you for stopping by, and until next time!
