Much like eating the best cheesesteak in Philly, loving cars is an American pastime. Many people travel to their local car shows to check out classic automobiles and new inventions on the road today. Whether you love a Porsche Boxster or a 1969 Mustang, the Philadelphia Auto Show will have something for you. From family cars to expensive, unique foreign vehicles, attendees will be able to get up close and personal with cars from every major manufacturer.
The show will be held at the Philadelphia Convention Center from January 27, 2018 to February 4, 2018, with general admission tickets being sold for $14. Tickets for children ages 7 to 12 are $7, and ages 6 and under are free with a ticketed adult. The Black Tie Tailgate, a fundraiser benefiting Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, will be held the evening before. With a ticket to the Black Tie Tailgate, attendees will experience a custom menu, open bar, and an inside look at the cars featured at the Philadelphia Auto Show.
While the featured cars have not been announced for the 2018 show, there were a few highlights from last year to help you get excited for the possibilities of this year: the 2017 Chevrolet Bolt, 2018 Lexus LC500, 2018 VW Atlas, 2018 Kia Stinger, and dream cars such as the Ferrari GTC4Lusso, Mercedes AMG GLA45, and much more. The event is a non-selling show, so attendees do not have to worry about being pressured into buying a car during the event. Photos and cameras and are welcome.
The event does not include food, so be sure to race over to Geno’s Steaks for the best cheesesteak in Philly. While you are there, check out the neon-orange Harley Davidson built for the late Joey Vento, founder of Geno’s Steaks, at the Geno’s Gear store.
